Jagannatha Nabakalebara (Part 1)
vasamsi jirnani yatha vihaya
navani grhnati naro 'parani
tatha sarirani vihaya jirnany
anyani samyati navani dehi
As per this verse from Bhagwat Gita whose ever took birth here has to meet his death n similarly even being the supreme god of the universe lord jagannatha and his siblings has to left their old bodies and acquired new one that what nabakalebara means.
In this video it's shown that how the Banajag Yatri got Aagyamala of the Deities and took it and went to King's Palace and after that again how they got king's permission to start their divine journey in search of holy neem trees to be the idols of Lord Balabhadra,Devi Subhadra and Lord Jagannatha.
Thereafter saying one night at Jagannath Ballav math they proceeded towards the deuli math, there the puja of Maa mangala began to guide them with the path of holy neem trees.
